# Managed Package Release Notes

These release notes cover the GRAX [Second Generation Managed Package](https://documentation.grax.com/reuse-data/managed-package/second-generation), which adds GRAX components to Salesforce. Each version is installed in your Salesforce org separately from the GRAX Application, which updates itself automatically. For changes to the GRAX Application, see [Application Release Notes](/notices/application-release-notes.md).

## 1.13.0 (October 2026): GRAX Platform External Client App

The package now includes the **GRAX Platform** External Client App, which the [GRAX Platform](https://platform.grax.com) uses to connect to your Salesforce org. This app does not issue refresh tokens. Installing or upgrading the package adds the app to your org alongside **GRAX Integration** and **GRAX SSO**.

## 1.12.0 (October 2026): External Client Apps

The package now includes the **GRAX Integration** and **GRAX SSO** External Client Apps. GRAX uses **GRAX Integration** to connect to the Salesforce API and **GRAX SSO** to let users sign in to GRAX with Salesforce. Installing or upgrading the package adds both apps to your org. ## 1.11.0 (February 2026): Package Version Reporting

The package version reported to the GRAX Application is now set when the package is built and includes the patch number. The components no longer query Salesforce to determine the installed version.

## 1.10.0 (December 2025): Local Network Access Setting

A new **Allow Local Network Access in iFrames** checkbox in GRAX Settings lets the GRAX components reach resources on your local network, such as `localhost` or private IP addresses. Recent Chrome releases require this permission for iframes that access local addresses. The setting is off by default, which avoids unnecessary browser permission prompts.

## 1.9.0 (September 2025): Updated Embedded Experience

All components now load the updated embedded GRAX experience by default.

## 1.8.0 (July 2025): Template Search and Search Layout

The Global Search component has new **Mode** and **Show Template ID** settings. With Mode set to **Template Search**, users see a list of Search Templates, or a single template's input form, instead of the full search experience. The GRAX Search tab supports the same options through the new **Search Tab: Template Search** and **Search Tab: Show Template ID** GRAX Settings.

The Global Search component can now be placed on Lightning App and Home pages.

The Global Search component now fills the available space below the Salesforce navigation instead of using a fixed 1000px height.

## 1.7.0 (January 2025): Related Records Child Level

Fixes an issue where the Related Records component's **Child Level** setting was not applied.

## 1.6.0 (December 2024): Related Records Dataset Selection

Fixes an issue where selecting **Archived or Deleted** in the Related Records component's **Dataset Selection** setting did not filter records.

## 1.5.0 (September 2024): Additional Configuration

The Related Records component has a new **Additional Configuration** setting for passing optional, advanced configuration values to the GRAX Application.

## 1.4.0 (April 2024): Version Detection and Error Message Fixes

Fixes an error that occurred when the components determined the installed package version in orgs where the package was installed as a managed package.

Fixes an issue where components could show an empty error message.

## 1.2.0 (April 2024): Security

All GRAX iframes now set the `sandbox` attribute, limiting what embedded pages can do within Salesforce.

## 1.1.0 (April 2024): Package Version Reporting

Components now report the installed package version to the GRAX Application.

## 1.0.0 (March 2024): Initial Release

The first release of the Second Generation Managed Package includes:

* Related Records component
* Record Versions component
* GRAX Search custom tab
* GRAX Settings custom setting, which stores the URL of your GRAX Application
