### Search

**Date filter now shows direction for search and archive** - Setting a relative date filter in GRAX works differently depending on where you apply it: search counts backward from today while archive schedules count forward. Each date filter now labels which direction the window opens so the intent is visible before you save. Admins building time-bounded queries or archive jobs will spend less time second-guessing whether they have the window pointing the right way.

**Bulk record downloads can now trigger a notification (Preview)** - GRAX can be configured to send a notification whenever a user performs a bulk download, whether from an object view, a search result, an activity log, a record graph, or a version list. Each notification captures what was exported and by whom, giving teams a way to track data access without building a separate monitoring process. Organizations with internal data governance or audit requirements now have a built-in way to log bulk exports automatically. ### Backup & Restore

**Salesforce API access confirmed before backup starts** - Each time GRAX starts, it checks that the Salesforce integration user has the "API Enabled" permission active before running any backup work. If that permission is missing, GRAX surfaces a clear message right away rather than generating confusing errors during backup runs. This catches a common misconfiguration early, especially after Salesforce profile or permission set changes that may have removed API access.

**EmailMessage records from Header Only Email Capture** - Salesforce can store some email activity as header-only records, a setting under Einstein Activity Capture's option to sync email as Salesforce activity. GRAX now backs those EmailMessage records up along with the rest of your email history. **Records with missing RTF content can be skipped during backup (Preview)** - Records that reference a missing RTF attachment - such as an inline image in an Email Message record - can now be skipped by GRAX rather than stopping the backup. Each skipped record triggers an email to GRAX admins with the object, record ID, and reason, so nothing is missed silently. Orgs where corrupt or partially deleted records exist no longer need manual steps to resume stalled backup runs. Preview: contact GRAX support to have this turned on for your environment.

### Authentication

**SSO login opens in a popup when the embedded flow is blocked (Preview)** - Running GRAX inside a Salesforce Lightning page sometimes causes the automatic SSO login to be blocked by the browser. Admins can enable a setting that opens the login screen in a separate popup window when this happens, keeping the flow working without requiring users to navigate to a standalone GRAX tab. This is most useful for organizations that surface GRAX through a Lightning component where browser restrictions on embedded frames apply. ### UI

**Custom object page layouts shown when browsing records** - Opening a custom Salesforce object record in GRAX now displays the Salesforce page layout configured for that object, including custom field groupings and section names. Standard Salesforce objects have always shown their layout in GRAX, but custom objects previously showed a flat field list regardless of how the layout was set up in Salesforce. Admins who maintain custom page layouts will now see those layouts reflected when they view records in GRAX.
