September 2026 Release Notes
GRAX Changelog - September 2026
Search
Reference fields now available in search templates - Search templates can now include conditions on fields from related objects - for example, filter Cases by Account Name or Opportunities by Owner Role. Select a reference field in the template editor and GRAX resolves it through the related object during search. This makes it possible to build templates that capture cross-object context without custom queries.
Storage
A storage threshold option now sends email alerts when Salesforce storage gets full - A Salesforce storage limit can now be set in Salesforce connection settings. When Salesforce storage crosses that threshold, GRAX sends an email to admins. The limit appears as a reference line on the archive performance chart so storage trends are visible before they become a problem. Preview: contact GRAX support to have this turned on for your environment.
Admins can configure a passive storage bucket for failover - Admins can now set up a secondary (passive) storage bucket alongside the primary one in GRAX settings. The passive bucket stays synchronized with the primary. If the primary becomes unavailable, the failover button in settings switches active storage to the passive copy without data loss. This gives GRAX deployments a manual continuity option during storage outages.
Authentication
Choose the OAuth app type for your Salesforce integration user - The Salesforce settings page can show which OAuth app type the GRAX integration user uses. When more than one type is available - for example, when an Enhanced Connected App is configured alongside the standard app - admins can pick the type during connection setup. This makes it easier to meet org-level security and app policies. Preview: contact GRAX support to have this turned on for your environment.
UI
Labels from your Salesforce org now appear in place of API names - Labels defined in your Salesforce org now appear throughout GRAX: object pickers, archive previews, search template editors, and record tables all show the label instead of the raw Salesforce API name. No setup is needed - labels come from your org's metadata automatically. Finding and recognizing objects in GRAX now matches what admins see inside Salesforce itself.
